Quick question. Do you have a pantry in your home? If so, is it a walk-in pantry, a reach in, or one step up from a coat closet.
I am one of the lucky few that has a pantry in my kitchen, but I suffer from terrible organization skills. That means it is super helpful that my pantry has a door that can hide my mess of half loafs, soup cans, and Cheerios. It’s also good that my pantry has shelves even though they may not be used to their highest and best potential. And, to be very honest, if I was a super star at organizing my pantry like Martha or Marie, my family would undoubtedly wreak havoc and destroy my well intentions.
So it came to me today that I may not be the only person looking for a dream pantry. In fact while showing homes to buyers today one of their biggest non-negotiable items on their “must have” list for their new home is a sizeable pantry. Actually not a surprise as I know my client to be a fabulous cook and baker to boot.

- Make sure you have plenty of storage containers to keep everything organized and tidy
- Label everything so you know what’s in each container
